Growing up, Becca always showed a strong connection with animals and the environment around her. She spent much of her childhood moving from place to place, while taking comfort in her pets. She always enjoyed exploring the outdoors and going on long walks with her dog and mother. She began collecting various rocks, shells, flowers, and leaves while exploring her surroundings. She would document these objects and organize them in different bins. As a young child she called this her “Nature Collection.”

Becca graduated from the Appalachian Center for Craft in December 2017. She graduated with a BFA in Ceramics and a minor in Social & Behavioral Science. She is currently the Gallery Manager at the Craft Center. She also teaches Ceramics to high school students through the Appalachian Center for Craft’s Focus on Fine Craft program. She resides in Cookeville, Tennessee with her husband, Jonathon, and their two cats and two rabbits.
